Sörmlands museum offers historical exhibitions in Kungstornet (The Kings Tower), antiques in Gamla Residenset (The Old Residence), fishing boats and nets in Båthuset (The Boat House) and a variety of exhibitions in Konsthallen (The Art Gallery). And don´t forget the outdoor-exhibition Historien längs ån (History along the river) which is the longest city museum in Sweden, running from the harbour thorugh the most beautiful parts of Nyköping. At 30 different spots marked by red informationposts you can follow 800 years of the history of Nyköping and Sweden, several of them with texts in English.
